The Dell Streak is a 5-inch tablet that runs on Android, Android OS 1.6 to be exact. It is one of a range of tablet computers coming from Dell, with 7 and 10-inch versions on the horizon. Powered by the almost obligatory Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 1GHz, the tablet has a 5-inch display that explains why this isn't just another Android smartphone. However, while it may not be a phone - it still has a 5-megapixel camera (with dual LED flash), GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi. There's also expandable memory, so you don't have to decide which model to get on day one - although it does mean topping out at 32GB, giving the iPad the edge. Dell's new device will be exclusive on O2 from early June, available from O2 or Carphone Warehouse. The announcement of this wouldn't be to try and spoil Apple's party on Friday, when the iPad gets its UK debut? No, we're sure it's just a total coincidence!
